Even tall people
look shorter
with a camera
held high.

Untitled

Bishop Johnson's 50th.

Untitled

This saxophonist
blew our socks off
and then the musicians
stood on stage
with little lighting
making the colours
dance,
leaving our feet
wishing they could, too.

Catching light
and
a football
at
the same time.

A edgy portrait
for Christmas,

without the green.

The Chris Murphy and
Lisa Moser
wedding rehearsal:
all of them
who were there!

While catching anniversary
photos at a thrashing bee
this couple's son
arrived with a
dead animal
to show off.

He was right in the middle
so I invited him to
step behind and between
his parents for a shot.

He, naturally, lead
with his find!

At the J Svorkdal
memorial
threshing bee
there were many
fabulous portraits
and only a few
usable until
permission is granted.

The drummer's
golden
drums
glow.

Estevan Photo Club
went out to shoot,
And there were
more mosquitoes
than I have almost
ever seen
up close and personal.
It's been great
for them this summer,
wet and hot.
This photos shows the
clear, hot, sunset we had
and one of the other shooters,
in silhouette.

So you noticed!

It's not a photo
of a person
nor as the filename implies
an orange.
It's variety
and colour,
vibrant colour!

Untitled

This friend's daughter,
(playing with
her younger brother)
decided to hide
in the coats
and put on
a scary look;
but colour and light
made her look ever so
sparkling alive!

Early spring
to honour John's
passion (well one of many)
Evelyn has Peter
sow 4 acres in oats
the "old way,"
which looks a lot like
the same tractor
we used on the farm
oh yeah,
so many years ago.
The goal is
one last
thrashing bee,
John's way.

A. Miner
was willing to serve as
model for preparations
as I set up the lighting
for a posed photo

A sampling
of history
